Can you answer b2b Samhain ’08’s question about Cruises?:

Does anyone know of an afordable cruise line that would be nice for newlyweds? A calm cruise with no children running rampant and people behaving like mad drunks… Just a nice calm cruise?

Cruises Feedback: Go during the school session if you can. There’s much less chance of running into family vacationers.

Try and choose a longer cruise if you can. For some reason the 7 days seem to attract fewer families.

Pick a line that is more orientated to adults like Princess or Norwegian. “Fun ships” like Disney or Carnival are always more appealing for kids.

They do have adult only cruises. run a google and you’ll get several.

Pick locations that aren’t geared towards the party scene. Cruises to places like Alaska or Jamaica are going to be less likely to have drunk college kids than places like Cancun.

Cruises Feedback: We went on the carnival conquest. There were kids on the ship but they didn’t cause us any problems. And we aren’t much on clubbing so we didn’t run into any issues with mad drunks. We got a balcony room, and it was nice, cause we had our own private deck with two chairs to relax on.
