I’m thinking of going on a cruise in September. Any suggestions on destinations/cruiselines, anything?

Can you answer pdw901’s question about Cruises?:
I prefer something a little more exotic than Florida or Mexico. My ideal would be a European cruise but not sure. I’m not really concerned with cost, just wanted to hear some opinions from people who have been. Thanks

Cruises Feedback: Have you considered a cruise/tour to Alaska ?
Beautiful Scenery
Amazing Wildlife
Great Variety of People from all over The World
Cruises Feedback: how about taking a cruise to canada? ports of call usually are Prince Edward Island, Nova Scottia. and Quebec. Quebec is so much like Paris, it is amazing. It has old world archetecture…the buildings look the same as Paris. I lived in Paris for 10 months and Quebec looked identical same language and customs. About all the cruise lines that sail from Baltimore, Bayonne, NJ, New York City and Boston go there.
Cruises Feedback: cruisecritic.com has lots of answers to your questions.
Cruises Feedback: If your ideal would be Europe, then go for that. The advantage will be, that the weather is still good, but the sites are not as crowded and it is not as hot anymore as in July and August (which is a killer when exploring Pompeii - it gives a whole new meaning to “hot and vulcano”)
Cruises Feedback: for all my cruise information and bookings i use i find their website very good to find information and great prices, especially last minute deals. also i find their experienced staff very helpful when i call them. on their website they list every cruise leaving every port to every destination in the world
Cruises Feedback: There is a 14-Night Transatlantic Cruise through Disney. Disney Cruises are wonderful, great service, wonderful food, and a great atmosphere. I’ve gone on a Disney Cruise before, and we’re going again because it was so good! Now, you think because it’s Disney there would be kids running around everywhere, but that’s not the case what-so-ever. There is are plenty of seperate areas for adults. The only thing about this cruise is it departs from Barcelona, Spain, but returns to Port Canaveral. Also you’ll be able to visit Disney’s beautiful private island on your way back, along with many stops in Europe! Hope I helped!
Cruises Feedback: First, you would not want to go to Alaska in September as that is when the ships stop sailing there and the wildlife is very minimal at that time. Where you might go depends upon how much time you have. A transatlantic is very nice. There is one going on Sept.8 that starts at about $1000. per person and is for 12 nights. Among the places it goes are England and Ireland. If you would like other suggestions, contact me at 1-800-892-8694. I am a cruise specialist and there is no charge for my services, so why not let me help you?
Cruises Feedback: I went through the Mediterranean during autumn, and it was simply wonderful weather! Crowds were smaller, too.
Cruises Feedback: I’ld love to do a European cruise too but I’ll share my experience.
Talk with a travel agent.
I did a 14 day cruise out of Aruba stopping at 10 islands. Visited lands ranging from deserts to tropical paradises. By today’s standards, a smaller ship (size of a WWII aircraft carrier) but able to visit the less traveled ports (I loved Grenada). Additionally, most of the passengers were from Brazil, Canada & Europe. Cost for 2 weeks as single status was what 5 days on Royal Caribbean out of Miami was for double status. Wasn’t the level of food & service as RC but the ports beat the heck out of the Bahamas.
The line I took has sinced ceased operations but an agent can help. Also discovered Club Med has ships in the area.
Cruises Feedback: I think a cruise vacation to greece or italy will be really refreshing for you as the weather is just perfect. As you are not concerned with the cost, you can easily get a nice deal for a week or two in Europe. Their coastlines and the people are amazing. Plus the weather.
Good Luck!
