If I am not a US/Canada citizen, do I need a visa for all cruise destinations? (Caribbean - all islands)?

Can you answer Helen_Mes’s question about Cruises?:
If so, how do I get those visas - through the cruise company or by myself, through an embassy?

Cruises Feedback: It depends on what country you are a citizen of and what countries you are going to enter. You need to go to the website for the embassy of each country you are going to to your home country and check to see if you need a visa. If you are from Norway, and are going to stop in the Dominican Republic, you need to check with the embassy or consulate of the Dominican Republic to Norway to see if you are required to have a visa. you could ask the cruise line, but I believe cruise lines do not help with visas. If you have a travel agent…they usually do help with visas. you can usuually find the embassy websites on line by entering “embassy ofxxxxx, then the name of your country.”
