During cruise travel, carry disposable items while traveling like towels and other things that you would not want to bring back with you.

That's a great idea for a christmas party. I have a few friends who are keen amature christmas party organisers and they will love an idea like this. Last year they were organising a christmas party for a corporate event and were considering a cruise but opted for a hotel conference room instead.

Cruises Feedback: First thing to think of - if you get sea sick easy then you may want to get a Stateroom in the middle of the ship !
The middle of the ship does not seem to rock as much as the rest of the ship. if you start feeling bad then you have a place to go to and relax (Stateroom).
Like everyone is saying, there is no way to get a cruise that is 100% calm seas. We ended up with 38ft waves hitting us for 2 days on our cruise.
This is how I know about a stateroom in the middle of the ship, Glad I had that room !!!! LOL - Oh, We also where on the top end of the ship.

Cruises Feedback: You can tell who doesn't cruise that often. Windjammer went out of business in 2007. If you plan to go with a smaller cruise line make sure they're reputable and that you have insurance in case they go under. Royal Caribbean is an excellent cruise line as is princess, norwegian and celebrity.

Cruises Feedback: I'd say a Western Caribbean cruise, especially for a first cruise. This usually includes, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, sometimes Jamaica [although I'd choose a cruise that doesn't stop there], maybe Costa Maya [once it recovers from hurricane damage], Roatan, Belize, Nassau, a line's private island - some combination of three or four of these.

Get a book on cruising or the Caribbean from your library or bookstore. This will give you a general idea of what cruising is all about, or what the different islands in the Caribbean have to offer. Itinerary isn't the only choice you'll have to make - there's also time of year, size/age of ship, cruise line, type and location of cabin, etc. A travel agent, especially one who specializes in cruises, will be very helpful, once you've gotten some idea of what you want.

You might also be interested in a great site that has info from experienced cruisers: CruiseCritic.com. Click on "Boards" then go to whatever topic interests you - perhaps "Ports of Call", "First Time Cruisers". You might also want to click on "Reviews" at the top of the page and read the pro reviews and, especially, "Member Reviews" to see what the pros/cons are of the different lines and ships.

All the boats will have lots of activities, though some will have more than others. Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Princess have a high activity level and a wide range of passengers.

Have fun doing some research and I hope you find just the right cruise for you.

Cruises Feedback: A carribean cruise is cheaper and you will get more kids on board than a mediterranean cruise. I would splurge if you could and do the meditterranean cruise for your honeymoon.

Cruises Feedback: yes. they do.
but not much.
My best guess to you would to be to search this on google about 3 weeks before the cruise.

Carnival last minute cruise discounts

Those sites work wonders!

-hope i helped!
