Do I need a passport to go on a cruise?

Answered By Travis Chippenham, Editor

The need of a passport will be based on the type of cruise and itineraries. In most cases, the cruising line will just ask you to present proof of citizenship and identification cards. Prior to your cruise, the cruising line will be providing you a set of requirements that you will need. If they have included the passport then you may do so.
