Congratulation! Now you are going to take a cruise vacation. But what you should bring along your vacation? Here is the packing list for your cruise.

Electronics and Camera Equipment

Here is what electronics and camera equipment you should bring along your cruise. This is very important since you want to make sure to document your journey, right? Also the electronics will support your convenient modern life. It would be troublesome not to bring this list.

- Film camera and manual - Extra film - Disposable underwater camera (very useful for beach days or snorkeling) - Digital camera and manual - Extra memory cards for digital camera - Batteries for digital camera - Battery charger - Cell phone and charger - Plug adaptor and converter - Small travel alarm clock - battery operated - Lighted dial clock for cruise ship cabin - Small flashlight - Night light - PDA and charger - Walkman and tapes - Laptop computer - Binoculars - Extension cord or power strip with multiple plug-ins

Medicine Kit

Imagine you or your family got sick, irritated, or injured in your exciting cruise. It will be very inconvenient for your journey. So taking these medicine kits will acts as your first help in your cruise. Do not forget to bring this list, ok!

- Specific medicine or drugs related to your illness - Bug spray (to eliminate annoying mosquitoes) - Ear plugs - Cream, aspirin, tylenol, advil - Germicidal hand cleaner - Handi-wipes - Hand lotion - Rubbing alcohol or foot lotion - Sun screen/sun block and lip sun block - Small first aid kit (band aids, bandages, Q-tips, anti-diarrheal medication, anntibiotic cream, vaseline, dramamine, cortisone)

Reading Material and Necessities

This list is clearly needed when you feel bored in your cruise vacation. It is useful to kill times until you reach your destination or port in your cruise. Some items will help you when you adventure offshore.

- Reading material - Extra reading glasses - Guidebooks and other port of call information - Foreign language phrase book or dictionary - Maps - Glasses, contacs, contac cleaner - Sunglasses - Reading sunglasses - Journal or notebook and pen/pencil to make notes to tell your family and friends back home about your journey

Travel Documents, Wallet Items, and Paperwork

Forget about your cruise happiness if you forgot to bring this list. Without doubt this is most important list to bring along your cruise journey.

- Cruise documents - Passports and visas (if necessary) or proof of citizenship (check with your cruise line for requirements) - Airline tickets or e-ticket confirmation - 3 copies of airline tickets, cruise tickets, passports/visas, itinerary - pack 1 copy in carry on, 1 copy in checked luggage, and leave one copy with someone at home - Contact numbers to report lost/stolen credit cards or travelers checks - Drivers license and auto insurance card (in case you decide to rent a car when ashore) - Medical insurance cards and medical history (especially if traveling alone) - Vaccination certificate (if required) - Another picture ID - Copy of prescriptions and list of all medicines you are taking - Cash or travelers checks - ATM card - Credit cards (ensure to call your credit card companies before traveling to alert them you are traveling outside your normal area) - Pre-paid phone card - Emergency numbers at home - Currency conversion chart - Wallet and fanny pack - Watch

This list is helpful for your other necessities along your cruise.

- Empty folding tote bag (for souvenirs or the beach) - Hats, caps, or visors - Insulated large coffee mugs - Duct tape or strapping tape - Extra plastic cable-lock ties for securing luggage for return trip - Extra luggage name tags - Zip loc bags of all sizes and garbage/laundry bags - Corkscrew - Collapsible travel pillow for those long airplane flights - Business cards with email address to give out to new cruise friends - Crazy glue - Playing cards - Swiss Army knife - Screwdriver head - Small umbrella - Sports gear - Shoe horn
